My daughter has gained the motivation to be more outgoing and self confident. She is much more talkative now. And, for me, I also have greater self confidence. I sleep well now - I didn’t used to - and I’m also not afraid to go running because I am confident in my ability to defend myself if something were to happen.

Dojo Field Trip to Japanese Gardens

What class do I come to?

We have beginning classes for all ages, male and female. On Saturday mornings the dojo trains as a whole.  The tiger class is for the youngest students and the crane class is for adults and experienced martial artists. The dragon class is for those in between.  Our complete class schedule is available on the calendar page.

Weapons such as the staff and nunchuka are trained with almost immediately.  We also teach 5 traditional Okinawan weapons that are trained with at different levels.

Everyone walks the path of karate at a different rate.

When does the Dojo close for bad weather?

The Dojo will be closed if the Grand Prairie ISD or Arlington ISD declare weather emergencies. We will also try to post notice on this website when possible.

What I find most interesting is that [my son] has gained this overall confidence, but he’s not really even aware of it! I also see that he is gaining more physical endurance. But I think it’s great that the confidence is just being instilled in him and he doesn’t really notice because of his age.
